I
don't have very many gold coins available for sale, but each of the ones
listed to the left would make a fine addition to a high grade type
set.
Both the 1911-D Quarter Eagle and the 1909-O
Half Eagle have the lowest mintages for their respective series. The
1808/7 Half Eagle is a genuinely rare
coin, with a total of only 40 examples graded by PCGS (as compared to the 220 of
the 1807 and the 155 of the 1808 that have been encapsulated by the experts in Newport
Beach). Finally, the 1851 Augustus Humbert $50
slug is a Gold Rush era classic.
Click on the links and take a look, but I'm afraid there's nothing left to buy
-- all of these coins have been sold.
